About the Teacher
Jimmy Sisco grew up in Northern California's Bay Area where he attended Christian schools from first grade through twelfth grade. He attended Cabrillo College in Santa Cruz where he studied physical education and played intercollegiate basketball. He later attended and graduated from Pacific College in Los Angeles where he played intercollegiate basketball and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies with an emphasis in Biblical Languages (Greek and Hebrew). He received his California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and his Master's Degree in Education from Antioch University in Santa Barbara. Mr. Sisco began his teaching career at OLMCS in the Fall of 2006. He was the fifth grade homeroom teacher for two years, the eighth grade homeroom teacher and middle school social studies teacher for three years, and is now back in fifth grade . Mr. Sisco proudly served six years in the United States Marine Corps. He has also written music soundtracks for two international documentary films. Mr. Sisco and his lovely wife have one beautiful daughter.
